Job Description
The Shipping Specialist is responsible for ensuring the needs of internal and external customers are met by preparing products for shipment and shipping all outbound shipments. This position works 7:00am-3:00pm.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of one (1) year experience working in shipping/receiving
- Knowledge of PC and database programs; experience working with an internal ERP system, printing labels, word processing, and spreadsheets
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and via email
- Basic measuring skills and visual quality inspection of incoming material
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping
- Experienced in operating a Forklift and electric pallet jacks
- Experience working with FedEx Ship Manger and UPS WorldShip
