Director Revenue Accounting

Role Overview

This senior management position provides strategic direction and oversight for the revenue function to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial records and regulatory reporting. The Director Revenue Accounting will be responsible for tax strategy and regulatory compliance, including process and policy development, 1099 reporting, oil & gas regulatory items and other areas as may become necessary.

What You Will Do

Directs and designs the activities for the revenue department, manages the indirect tax and accounting regulatory group, and directs the preparation of financial statements and footnotes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a similar discipline
• Minimum of twelve (12+) years of experience in accounting for an upstream oil and gas company with at least five (5+) of those in a revenue function
• Five (5+) or more years of experience in progressive accounting or tax leadership roles
• Strong working knowledge of revenue accounting, production, and general accounting principles
