Digital Control Incorporated (DCI) is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Quality Electronics Technician to join our Quality Team to support quality initiatives across our electronics manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in a technical quality role within an electronics or PCB manufacturing environment
- A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing, troubleshooting, and repair
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Demonstrated experience with advanced diagnostic equipment, such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
- An understanding of both analog and digital electronics, including circuit theory, power supplies, and signal integrity
- Proven ability to perform component-level soldering and rework on intricate printed circuit boards (PCBs)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS and quality auditing practices
- Proficient in root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D)
- Familiarity with LEAN principles and Six Sigma tools (Green Belt certification preferred)
- The ability to work under limited supervision, prioritize tasks, and independently solve complex technical problems
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience with ERP and quality management software is a plus
