Job Description
Direct Counsel is seeking an Attorney with 5-7 years of experience to join a nationally recognized AmLaw 200 law firm's Banking and Financial Services business unit, specifically in the financial regulatory and compliance practice.
Requirements
- Assist two partners in federal and state regulatory investigations and supervisions
- Reviewing policies and procedures, compliance management system infrastructure and risk management systems
- Analysis of various financial services statutes and regulations to support client regulatory expectations in the areas of payments, lending, debt collection, mortgage servicing for banks and non-banking institutions
- Assistance in providing regulatory due diligence for M&A financial services transactions
