Job Description
Direct Counsel is seeking an Emerging Growth & Venture Capital Associate Attorney to join a leading international law firm's corporate practice. This opportunity is open across multiple offices. The associate will work closely with founders, venture capital investors, and private equity sponsors on venture financings, strategic transactions, and day-to-day corporate counseling.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school.
- 3+ years of experience in emerging growth / venture capital transactions at a large law firm or highly regarded corporate practice.
- Experience representing both issuers and institutional investors in venture capital financings.
- Exposure to M&A transactions and general corporate counseling.
- Admission to practice law in the state where the candidate will be based, or ability to obtain admission.
