Investment Funds Mid-Level Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking an Investment Funds Mid-Level Associate to join a top-tier, national law firm with a premier private equity and investment management practice. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of significant experience advising private equity sponsors and institutional investors on fund formation and related matters.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of private equity fund formation experience
• Working knowledge of relevant securities laws and regulations, including the Investment Advisers Act
• Experience with private equity secondary transactions and/or GP-led restructurings is a plus
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills
• Admission to the state bar in the office location (or eligibility for prompt admission)
