Job Description
Direct Counsel is seeking a Mid-Level Land Use Associate Attorney to join a well-established law firm in Miami. The role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated zoning and land use matters across South Florida, representing developers, investors, and property owners on high-impact projects.
Requirements
- Handle a broad spectrum of land use and zoning matters
- Prepare applications, legal memoranda, and supporting documentation
- Represent clients before municipal boards, zoning commissions, and other local agencies
- Analyze and interpret zoning codes, land development regulations, and comprehensive plans
- Review and interpret architectural drawings and site plans
- Advise clients on development strategy, entitlements, and regulatory risks
- Collaborate with developers, consultants, and government officials throughout the entitlement process
