Job Description
Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its White-Collar Defense & Investigations Practice in Century City. The successful candidate will represent clients in complex white collar criminal litigation, regulatory enforcement actions, and internal corporate investigations.
Requirements
- Represent clients in complex white collar criminal litigation, regulatory enforcement actions, and internal corporate investigations.
- Advise clients on compliance with federal and state regulations, including securities laws, anti-corruption laws, FCPA, and anti-money laundering statutes.
- Work directly with government agencies including the DOJ, SEC, and other regulatory bodies.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal memoranda, motions, and responses to subpoenas and investigatory requests.
- Assist in trial preparation, interviews, and strategy development for defense matters.
