Private Equity Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Private Equity Associate Attorney to join an Am Law firm's Corporate & Securities / Private Equity practice in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have experience handling private equity transactions and complex M&A matters.

Requirements

• Represent private equity sponsors and portfolio companies in acquisitions, dispositions, and investments
• Manage key components of complex M&A and private equity transactions from diligence through closing
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents and coordinate deal execution
• Collaborate with partners, specialists, and client teams across transactions
• Support ongoing growth of a national private equity practice
