Real Estate Transactions and Finance Associate Attorney - Silicon Valley

Direct Counsel represents an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Real Estate Associate with broad transactional experience to join its sophisticated real estate practice. This role offers exposure to high-value transactions across a range of asset classes and deal structures.

Requirements

• Structure, negotiate, and draft purchase and sale agreements, mortgage loan documents, and core transaction materials
• Manage acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and closing processes
• Oversee closing checklists and transaction documentation
• Draft and negotiate commercial leases, joint ventures, construction agreements, CC&Rs, REAs, declarations, and easement agreements (preferred)
• 3–6 years of broad real estate transactional experience
• Strong experience with mortgage debt financing (borrower-side preferred) and purchase/sale transactions
• Leasing and joint venture experience a plus
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative mindset with strong independent problem-solving ability
• Active bar membership in good standing
