Job Description
Direct Counsel is representing a well-known Am Law 100 firm seeking a Senior Corporate Associate (Mergers & Acquisitions) for its Fort Lauderdale or Tampa office. The ideal candidate will manage sophisticated transactions, lead deal teams, and work directly with clients across a wide range of industries.
Requirements
- Lead M&A transactions from inception to closing
- Serve as primary client contact, providing legal and strategic guidance
- Supervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals
- Collaborate with tax, regulatory, IP, and finance specialists
- Draft and negotiate principal transaction agreements
- Manage post-closing issues such as purchase price adjustments, integration, and disputes
