Large Format Print Operator

Direct Edge Media is seeking an experienced Large Format Print Operator to run production on VUTEk Q3H-XP and VUTEk X3R platforms. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation of large format printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output, efficient production flow, and proper material handling across both flatbed and roll-to-roll applications.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with both flatbed and roll-to-roll printing environments
• Understanding of print-to-cut workflows and finishing processes
• Familiarity with RIP software and file preparation for large format printing
• Strong understanding of color consistency, print quality, and substrate behavior
• Ability to troubleshoot print issues and make real-time adjustments
• Mechanical aptitude and production-oriented mindset
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills across departments
• Must be fluent and proficient in English (verbal and written) to effectively communicate job requirements, safety procedures, and production instructions
• Basic computer skills and ability to read job tickets
