Job Description
The Maintenance Manager will develop and manage a proactive approach to plant maintenance by evaluating and improving Preventive Maintenance program processes and procedures, ensuring adequate service coverage for each piece of equipment, and evaluating and determining root cause for unplanned equipment downtime.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in education and experience
- 6-8 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role in a capital intensive operation
- Strong communication skills to receive and convey information, much of it technical in nature
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, work priorities and planning
- Strong leadership and employee development skills
- Experience establishing and improving SOPs that drive process
- Analytical and conceptual skills to solve problems with effective solutions
- Strong analytical and statistical skill
- Experience with CMMS systems
- Strong experience using lean to continually improve the operation
- Dependability - Must be able to maintain satisfactory record of attendance and conduct. Must be able to work any shift and overtime as required
