Job Description
The Occupational Therapist organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs for the agency to facilitate rehabilitation, directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance, and facilitates the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity.
Requirements
- Screens, examines and evaluates patients
- Develops and implements occupational therapy treatment plans
- Supervises Occupational Therapy Assistants and support personnel
- Attends and contributes to patient care and staffing conferences
- Consults with other disciplines and agencies
- Designs, fabricates, fits and/or applies adaptive devices
