Senior Software Engineer - SEO

We're looking for a data-driven full stack Senior Software Engineer to join the Growth team at Discord. Our team is responsible for how Discord shows up across the web- building the systems that help new users discover and understand Discord before they ever sign up.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Experience building SEO solutions or working on growth teams focused on acquisition
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, with experience building performant web applications
• Familiarity with edge compute platforms (Cloudflare Workers, Vercel Edge Functions, or similar)
• Working knowledge of Python and backend web frameworks like Flask
• A data-driven approach to decision making, with experience designing and interpreting A/B tests
• Curiosity about how search engines and LLMs work and a desire to stay current on SEO & GEO best practices
