Material Handler (3rd Shift)

Material Handler (3rd Shift) position available at BEL USA. Must foster the company's mission and core values while operating warehouse equipment to deliver products on time. Essential job functions include pulling stock, preparing shipments, changing inventory tags, maintaining a clean work area, and following safety procedures.

Requirements

• Pull stock in accordance with printed work orders and stage for production
• Prepare stock for shipments of non-imprint orders
• Change inventory tags and keep up-to-date
• Maintain a constant work flow for the Production Department
• Make sure that work area is maintained clean and clutter free
• Follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment
• Pulls product according to printed sample orders
• Put stock away in appropriate warehouse locations
• Packages samples and materials for shipping to customers, trade shows, etc.
• Responsible for inventory counts of samples in stock and requisitioning replacements from Production Planning
• Properly labels samples with designated hangtag label for proper identification of sample
• Maintains a clean and organized work area including performing general housekeeping duties i.e. sweeping, etc.
• Loads and unloads materials to and from trucks, pallets, racks and vehicles
• Performs cycle counting. Identifies and reports inventory record errors.
• Reads Sales/Work orders, etc to determine items to be picked and moved to appropriate production areas
• Enters Sales/Work orders, transfers, and scrap replacement transactions in the computer system
• Reliable, regular attendance is essential.
• Supports teamwork through active participation and/or by helping team ideas work.
• Performs duties safely and in accordance with Company safety policies.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
