We are seeking an Event Manager to oversee and implement the planning, organisation & presentation of all race days & events at Newmarket Racecourses. The successful candidate will ensure high standards of site presentation, excellent customer experience & management of H&S, logistics and relationships with customers, contractors, third-party partners and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Preplanning, execution and delivery of events at the Racecourse
- Liaise with event organisers regarding their requirements
- Ensure facilities are fit for use for the client/guests
- Create purchase orders, check and certify invoices and control expenditure
- Use the event management system to create comprehensive, detailed function sheets
- Work with the sales team to ensure seamless customer experience for conference and events
- Ensure any maintenance issues are reported promptly to the facilities team
- Work with the Senior Event Manager to manage the race day casual assistants
