Job Description
An entry-level mechanical engineer position that involves creating detailed designs, drawings, and technical documentation for mechanical components of a project. The engineer will work under the supervision of a manager and an experienced project engineer.
Requirements
- Become a contributing member of a team of engineers, designers, and drafters.
- Develop insight into engineering duties concerning the design of conveyor systems.
- Acquire knowledge of codes, standards and specifications associated with material handing design.
- Develop proficiency in the use of 2D and 3D CAD Software.
- Perform ballooning and dimensioning of drawings as assigned.
- Provide technical design support to engineering and field teams.
- Review drawings and check for errors prior to customer review.
- Prepare detailed reports to demonstrate technical progress and accomplishments on projects.
