Job Description
Diversified Power International LLC is seeking a Firmware Design Engineer to develop, maintain, and organize firmware for Cortex-M microcontrollers. The role involves microcontroller firmware development using tools like ANSI-C and Python, prototyping and debugging, and managing code revisions. Strong communication and management skills are essential.
Requirements
- Development of microcontroller firmware using various tools (ANSI-C, C++, Python, JTAG, IDE)
- 3yrs hands-on experience with Free-RTOS, ARM CORTEX, and STMicro IDE tools
- Strong motor controller or power distribution firmware design
- Teamwork with mechanical/electrical engineers in product development
- Wire Management and documentation skills
- Progress reporting and improvement updates
- Strong communication skills
- Real-Time MCU debugging
- Communication protocol knowledge (I2C, SPI, CAN, UART)
- Experience with STM32Cube IDE environment
- iPhone and Android App Development (asset)
