Job Description
Diversity is seeking a full-time and part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness. This role involves providing therapeutic support to individuals in their personal and social lives, documenting behavioral changes, and adhering to the support plan. The organization emphasizes innovation and helping individuals with disabilities thrive.
Requirements
- Responsible for reading, understanding and implementing the individual's support plan.
- Administers medication as needed, according to the five rights of medication administration.
- Completes daily progress notes in accordance with the ISP goals.
- Flexible to meet the needs of the program.
- Must be responsible for learning all medications and related side effects.
