CNC Operator

The CNC Operator is responsible for the safe operation and setup of CNC Machining Centers, working with Management to debug and optimize manufacturing processes and demonstrating a high level of competency with metal working equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 5+ years related experience and/or training
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
• Working knowledge of “G” & “M” Codes
• Demonstrate a working understanding of CNC Machine Coordinate Systems
• Demonstrate competency on a wide variety of machines and controls
