Social Media Editor

Daily Mail is looking for a talented Social Media Editor to join its industry-leading social team. The role involves assisting the Head of Social in scheduling and posting to all Daily Mail social feeds and channels, researching and finding the latest news and viral trends, and creating captions and headlines to generate article traffic to their 22 million Facebook audience.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with social platforms and crowdsourcing or experience managing social media platforms for a digital media publication
• Ability to gather and analyse social media data and analytics
• Good use of Adobe, including Photoshop
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Understanding of all social media platforms including Facebook, X, WhatsApp and other websites
• Ability to use your own initiative and make effective decisions
