Job Description
This position is for a Race Shop Technician at Skip Barber Racing events, responsible for maintaining and repairing racecars and supporting vehicles. The technician must maintain and repair the fleet of racecars to the company's standards, and consistently follow procedures. The role requires reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and willingness to learn. The company seeks professionals interested in pursuing a leadership role within the racing team.
Requirements
- Inspects, adjusts, repairs and maintains race cars and support vehicles.
- Logs maintenance needs and repairs in accordance with company policies.
- Assists in loading and unloading trailers.
- Repairs or services racecars with a GVWR of 10,001 pounds or more or commercial motor vehicle.
- Operates forklift as required.
- Travel interstate/nationally, potentially relocating.
- Work weekends and potential late nights.
