Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced FX Supervisor to lead a team of FX Artists and manage the day-to-day production of photorealistic VFX simulations. The role involves technical and artistic supervision, working closely with various departments, and ensuring the highest quality simulations. Experience with Houdini, smoke, fire, and water effects is essential.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of FX TD experience and previous experience as an FX Supervisor
- Extensive knowledge of Houdini
- Proven experience in producing smoke, fire, clouds, water, steam, and explosions, plus experience with particle and voxel-based rendering
- Eye for details, good sense of timing, and understanding of techniques and technologies related to physical simulation
- Familiarity with pipeline issues and problem solving
- Experienced in project management, balancing quality with time constraints
- High level feature film experience in live action VFX Films
- Good experience in leading and training teams of FX Artists
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organisational skills
