Job Description
Senior Power Systems Engineer to lead the growth and evolution of the Power Systems Advisory business in North America, delivering technical insight and customer service excellence. The role involves developing steady state and dynamic models for renewable and conventional generation resources, leading technical studies, and collaborating with team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
- Perform steady state, dynamic, short-circuit and/or PSCAD model development for renewable and conventional generation resources
- Lead and advance script development and troubleshooting throughout the study process
- Identify and implement modifications to more effectively address workloads
- Collaborate with, lead, and advance capabilities of team members in understanding study requirements
- Conduct and lead technical studies for generator interconnection
- Actively attend (in person/remote) industry stakeholder meetings and stay up to date with assigned market changes
