Full-Time Guitar and Orchestral String Repair Technician (Guitar Technicians Welcome to Apply)

Menchey Music Service is seeking a Full-Time Fretted & Orchestral String Instrument Repair Technician to join their Repair team. The role involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining string instruments while meeting industry and company standards for quality and productivity.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in guitar repair, luthier work, or orchestral string instrument repair.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an on-site bench test to assess proficiency with hand tools, machine equipment, and repair techniques for fretted instruments
• Demonstrated aptitude for precision work and fine motor skills
• Basic proficiency in computer applications
• Detail-oriented with ability to work independently and prioritize workload to meet productivity goals
• Strong communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with customers, team members, and management while using good situational judgment and maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to identify and implement workflow improvements to enhance department efficiency and productivity while exercising sound judgment and professional etiquette in all business interactions
