Job Description
This position seeks independent Contractor Nurse Practitioners to provide health readiness services to service members in the US Army, Army National Guard, Navy Reserve, Marine Forces Reserve, US Coast Guard Reserve, Air National Guard, US Air Force Reserve, and other military branches. The role involves assessments, medical record documentation, and addressing personnel concerns. It includes weekend work, some weekdays, and specific requirements related to service member medical records and specialized knowledge of military systems.
Requirements
- Supervising Physician may be required
- Active NP license in the state
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health - preferred
- Experience with mobile medical services - preferred
- Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology - preferred
- Adaptable to fast paced environments
- Able to work extended hours
- Able to work in various locations, including remote military installations
- Able to travel, with weekend availability - preferred
