Job Description
DOCS Health is seeking independent Nurse Practitioners to provide health readiness services to service members in the US Army, Navy, Air National Guard, US Marines, Coast Guard, and Air Force Reserves. The role involves assessing and treating service members’ medical and dental needs, with a focus on maintaining a deployable military force. Weekend and occasional weekday work is common.
Requirements
- Supervising Physician may required
- Active NP license in the state
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health - preferred
- Experience with mobile medical services - preferred
- Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology - preferred
- Adaptable to fast paced environments
- Able to work extended hours
- Able to work in various locations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge and skills
- Not Required - Diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications
