Job Description
DOCS Health is seeking independent, contract-based Nurse Practitioners to provide health readiness services to active-duty military personnel. Services include physical health assessments, medical and dental record review, and identification of urgent medical concerns. Contract roles are limited to weekends, with occasional weekday availability in the Reserve Health Readiness Program.
Requirements
- Supervising physician may be required
- Active NP license in the state
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health - preferred
- Experience with mobile medical services - preferred
- Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology - preferred
- Adaptable to fast-paced environments
- Able to work extended hours
- Able to work in various locations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge and skills
- Not Required - Diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications
