Job Description
DOCS Health is seeking independent Nurse Practitioners to provide health readiness services to U.S. military members. The role involves supporting physical health assessments, reviewing medical records, and identifying and addressing concerns related to behavioral health. The position offers weekend work and occasional weekday work in the State of California, with potential for in-state deployment under the Reserve Health Readiness Program.
Requirements
- Supervising Physician may be required
- Active NP license in the state
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health - preferred
- Experience with mobile medical services - preferred
- Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology - preferred
- Adaptable to fast paced environments
- Able to work extended hours
- Able to work in various locations, including remote military installations
- Able to travel, with weekend availability
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Not Required - Diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications
