Job Description
Docusign is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect the next generation of our Search & Data Platform. The successful candidate will work on building a distributed infrastructure for instant agreement discovery, filtering, and analysis, using Elasticsearch, distributed systems, and solving never-been-done-before problems at scale.
Requirements
- Design and build fault-tolerant, high-throughput search systems using microservices architecture (primarily C#/.NET or Java)
- Lead the implementation and optimization of Elasticsearch clusters to ensure sub-second query performance across petabytes of data
- Develop and deploy scalable services in Azure or AWS, leveraging containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code
- Collaborate with Product Management to translate marketing requirements into technical designs, drive implementation, write ample test coverage (TDD), and oversee the release process
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and work with cross-site teams to drive engineering best practices
- Identify and resolve production issues, ensuring 99.99% availability for critical search services
