Job Description
The Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) Specialist will work in all areas of the business to recognize, evaluate, and recommend solutions to hazards in the workplace, providing proper training and effectively communicating safety to employees.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and some health and safety or related experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or related field required
- Class A or Class B CDL license preferred
- Basic knowledge of MSHA, OSHA, DEQ, EPA, local/state ordinances, and DOT regulations
- Willingness to obtain a BCSP accredited certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
