Job Description
Domtar is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their Pulp Mill in Plymouth, NC. This full-time, permanent position will focus on ensuring the continued operation of the facility through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and compliance with safety regulations. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and utilizing CMMS to manage maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Develop, implement, and track preventative maintenance schedules.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Install and upgrade equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records using a CMMS.
- Collaborate with production, operations, and management teams.
- Lead the mechanical maintenance crew.
- Develop job planning and project planning skills.
- Utilize computer-based maintenance software.
