Job Description
Domtar is seeking a Safety Manager to join its Plymouth Mill Leadership Team. The Safety Manager will lead and support the development of a mill-wide health and safety strategy and culture through technical support, program development, and relationship building.
Requirements
- B.S. in Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, or Environmental Health and Safety
- 5+ years of health and safety leadership experience in an industrial setting
- Thorough understanding of OSHA and Workers' Compensation regulations
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient planning and organization skills
- High degree of computer literacy to include MS Office, MS Teams
- Experience managing other H&S professionals in a manufacturing environment
