Manager - Software Engineering

Requirements

• Lead, coach, and develop one or more cross functional engineering squads
• Foster a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance feedback, growth planning, and career development for engineers
• Own delivery outcomes for assigned teams across sprint and release cycles
• Drive day to day execution: backlog readiness, sprint goals, execution tracking, and unblockings
• Ensure teams follow engineering best practices around: Code quality, Testing and automation, Security and compliance requirements, Performance and reliability
• Actively review delivery signals (build health, test coverage, defect trends) and course correct as needed
• Encourage pragmatic technical improvements and reduction of technical debt
• Work closely with: Product Management on scope, trade offs, and prioritization, QA and SRE on release quality and operational readiness, Architecture and Security on standards and risk management
• Drive continuous improvement in team execution, tooling usage, and SDLC practices
• Support adoption of AI assisted development tools to improve productivity and quality
• Identify friction points in development workflows and partner with leadership to address them
