Job Description
Donum Dei Classical Academy is seeking an Elementary School Teacher (Grades 2nd-5th) to join their team. The ideal candidate is a devoted, skillful teacher who builds foundational literacy, numeracy, and habit through joyful, orderly instruction grounded in Scripture. The teacher will support the holistic formation of students in truth, goodness, and beauty, and partner with families to form disciplined, curious learners who love truth and beauty.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Pursue the ACSI Teacher Certification, Classical Educator Equivalent, CA Teacher Credential, or Master's in Classical Education within two years of initial employment
- Professional working experience in relevant field(s)
- Commitment to ongoing training and spiritual formation throughout the year
- Be passionate about serving families and connecting them to our community as they navigate the journey of discernment, application, and enrollment
- Be devoted to the truth of the Gospel and to Jesus as Lord
- Serve as a minister of the Gospel
- Be in good standing with a Christian church, which includes weekly attendance and participation as an active worshipper
