Job Description
Dornier Group GmbH is seeking a Hydraulic Engineer to develop and calibrate 1D/2D hydraulic numerical models for river hydraulics, flood routing, and reservoir operations, and to perform CFD analysis of hydraulic structures.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering (master’s degree or higher) or a related field
- At least 5 to 10 years of professional experience in hydraulic design and modelling
- Proficient in standard hydraulic modelling software and CFD tools
- Strong knowledge of open-channel hydraulics, pressure-flow systems, and sediment transport
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; German and other foreign languages are an advantage
