Job Description
The Dornier Group is seeking a Hydropower Planning Expert (m/f/d) to lead planning hydropower projects, develop conceptual feasibility studies, and perform hydrological analyses, energy yield assessments, reservoir operation studies, and generation forecasts. The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of professional experience in hydropower and pumped storage planning projects and feasibility studies.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering (master’s or higher) or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in hydropower and pumped storage planning projects and feasibility studies
- Experience with international projects is a plus
- Skilled in hydraulics, hydrology, geotechnics, structural design, and the integration of electrical and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with international standards and financing requirements for hydropower projects
- Experience in project management, contract negotiations, and proposal preparation
- Knowledge of construction supervision is an added advantage
