The Program Administrator, Volunteer Recruitment and Engagement is an integral member of DOROTâs Volunteer Services team, playing a key role in ensuring that volunteers are effectively recruited, welcomed, and supported across the organization. The position combines administrative coordination with handsâon program support.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of professional experience and/or related experience working with volunteers, older adults, and/or non-profit organizations
- Demonstrated ability to proactively solve problems and to work independently and as a collaborative team member
- Passion, warmth and sensitivity for DOROTâs mission
- Strong organizational, administrative, and multi-tasking skills with keen attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in use of MS Office Suite, primarily Word and Excel
- Experience with Salesforce data entry and knowledge of databases a plus
- Comfort learning new online tools, including JotForm
- Ability to work 10-12 evenings and 4 Sundays per year for volunteer orientations/events and agency-wide Package Delivery programs per year
