Credit Controller

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our finance team in Cape Town. The role is responsible for managing outstanding receivables, minimising credit risk, and ensuring timely collection of payments to support the organisation’s cash flow position.

Requirements

• Manage and maintain the sales ledger, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records
• Proactively chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and written communication
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure prompt payment
• Resolve billing queries and disputes efficiently in collaboration with internal teams
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Update credit check records of your clients
• Escalate problematic accounts and recommend appropriate action
• Discuss your accounts at weekly meetings
