Mechanical Engineering Lead- Design for Product Development

Dover Precision Components is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Lead with design for product development experience for our FW Murphy Production Controls brand. The role involves designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems and components used in industrial monitoring and control solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering; Work experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering and design for product development
• Strong proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles including GD&T and tolerance analysis
• Experience applying Design for Manufacturing principles
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment
