Assistant Newsletter Editor, Opinion

The Wall Street Journal's Opinion section is looking for an Assistant Newsletter Editor to support the growth of their newsletter offerings and assist with the daily operation of the opinion section. The ideal candidate will have a professional background in editorial writing and commentary, significant experience with newsletter formats, and a strong understanding of the newsletter format needs of audiences across multiple platforms.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of journalism experience with newsletters
• Experience supporting or building newsletters that achieved measurable growth in subscribers and engagement
• Demonstrated experience growing and engaging audiences via email
• Familiarity with the ideas, philosophy and principles for which the Wall Street Journal editorial page stands
• High level of proficiency in writing, copy-editing and proofreading
• Exceptional editing skills and sound editorial judgement
