Transportation Engineering Intern

We are seeking a Transportation Engineering Intern to assist with various engineering projects across Montana. The successful candidate will gain knowledge and experience with design projects and work closely with experienced professionals.

Requirements

• Assist with field investigations, analysis of alternative solutions, and project design.
• Perform engineering calculations in support of design projects.
• Calculate construction quantities from plans and specifications to tabulate bid items and estimate construction costs.
• Perform AutoCAD and or MicroStation drafting support.
• Prepare and route project-related correspondence and record keeping.
• Assist with writing and editing construction specifications and technical reports.
• Complete other engineering-related duties as assigned.
