Job Description
The Clinical Informatics Specialist role focuses on training and supporting providers and physician staff, ensuring the continued use and effectiveness of Down East Community Hospital's EMR systems and supporting the hospital's mission and vision. This position involves fostering relationships within the clinical setting, developing workflow processes, and providing training on EMR systems. The specialist contributes to continuous improvement and alignment with hospital standards.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or related healthcare field
- Current knowledge of clinical practices and related information systems
- Intermediate to advanced experience with computer software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- At least two years of clinical experience
- Cerner Oracle EMR experience preferred
