Job Description
The Physical Therapist provides direct patient care within the Rehabilitation Department of the hospital, according to Maine Physical Therapy Practice Act. This role involves performing treatments, evaluating equipment, and collaborating with medical and departmental staff to ensure high-quality patient care. The position is a per- diem position with 25 quarter-hour unit time constraints.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy education program.
- Must hold a valid State of Maine License to practice Physical Therapy.
- Experience preferred.
- Must be able to provide competent patient treatment and have good documentation skills.
- Must be proficient with computer applications.
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work independently
- Ability to work independently
