Job Description
The Physical Therapist at Down East Community provides quality direct patient care services, participating in the Rehabilitation Department and upholding hospital policies. They assess, plan, and implement treatments to improve patient health, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This position requires adherence to safety protocols and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy education program
- Hold a valid State of Maine License to practice Physical Therapy
- Competent patient treatment and good documentation skills
- Proficiency with computer applications
- Valid driver’s license for transportation
- Ability to work independently
