Preconstruction Engineer- Concrete

DPR Construction is seeking a Preconstruction Engineer for our Self Perform Concrete team with 1-5 years of commercial construction experience.

Requirements

• Ability to prepare detailed instructions to bidders
• Must have knowledge and understanding of unit costs
• Must have experience being a member of the team involved in Request for Proposal Responses (RFP’s)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently handle subcontractor requests
• Prepare and distribute time-sensitive materials
• Coordinate activities of the team from bid to proposal
• Provide a consistent customer service experience with subs and vendors
• Track and update vendor information and manage local vendor database
• Ability to prepare detailed estimate updates
• Experience writing and negotiating subcontracts
• Willingness and desire to actively participate in Value Engineering sessions
