Job Description
SurePods, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is looking for a Project Engineer to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate has a background as a commercial construction Superintendent with manufacturing leadership experience and a strong work ethic.
Requirements
- Review and understand construction contract documents
- Generate track, log, and review RFI's
- Obtain, review, and document project submittals
- Review and track project ASI, and similar change documentation
- Schedule, host, and document internal project team meetings
- Review and coordinate shop drawings and spool sheets across internal teams
- Complete material takeoffs and procurement logs
- Assist PM in coordination with jobsite install teams
- Tracks vendor/subcontractor schedules and expedites
- Coordinates with fabrication shop for production handoffs and RFI's
- Gathers and submits project closeout documentation
- Supports and interacts with internal and external team members
- Seeks opportunities to take leadership roles in internal teams to grow capacity
- Occasional travel to project sites for coordination and planning purposes
