HS ENL Teacher

Dr. Richard Izquierdo Health & Science Charter School is seeking an English as a New Language (ENL) Teacher to provide instruction to high school students. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, at least 2 years of prior teaching experience, and NY State certification or be on the path to certification.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
• At least 2 years prior teaching experience in high school
• NYS certification ENL preferred, or on the pathway toward getting certified
• Demonstrated success working in non-traditional and/or urban school settings
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with educational technology (SMART Board, student laptops, etc.)
