Job Description
The Special Education Instructional Specialist will support students in grades 6 to 12 to navigate the curriculum, design and lead programming, and work collaboratively with faculty and families to serve students with scaffolding and differentiated learning, and students with individualized learning goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in special education
- Minimum 4 years exemplary special education teaching experience
- Valid NYS teaching certificate in special education at the middle/high school level
- Deep knowledge of special education best practices, current educational trends, and program planning and implementation
